| The BGZ is the prevention arm of the HVBG (German Federation of Institutions for Statutory Accident Insurance and Prevention), responsible for directing and coordinating the joint tasks of the "BGs" (institutions responsible for statutory accident insurance and prevention) in the field of safety and health at the workplace. It also advises the BGs on all matters concerning occupational safety and health (OSH), develops joint positions and policies and fosters international contacts and cooperation. |
